Early yesterday morning Laura, Mom, Abigail, Landon, and I all loaded up in the minivan for another long journey. Instead of heading West on I-80/90, this time we headed East. We were traveling to Cleveland to enjoy a nice day with Julie looking at dresses for her wedding.
When we finally arrived, we went directly to Julie's house. I had never been there and really was glad I finally got to see it. It is very cute! Very homey! Then (after feeding and changing the kiddos), we left to get some lunch at Panera. Julie had two appointments. We went to the first appointment at noon. It was at one of those designer places. It had a lot of very pretty dresses, but they were all of the froo froo variety (not Julie's type). So, we headed off to David's Bridal where she had made an appointment for 2. We were early, but they were able to accomondate us.
Julie found some very cute dresses! I am not going to post any pictures (just in case Lee ever looks at this page). I will say Laura and I both agree (because we both had similar experiences to Julie), if you don't really know what you're going for and don't want to spend a ton of money, don't waste time just go to David's Bridal.

After David's Bridal (Julie did not buy a dress at this time), we headed back to Julie's place. On the way, she showed us the house where they filmed The Christmas Story. It is very near to where she lives.
"You'll shoot your eye out!"
After getting back to Julie's, we decided to go for a walk around her neighborhood and get some ice cream. So we loaded the kids in their strollers and headed off for a short walk down a few blocks.
We had a very good time!
