300th Post!!!
I just noticed that this was my 300th post! That's exciting! I can't believe I have had that much to talk about. I really don't have anything to say today except that we enjoyed the great weather and were able to buy Abs some outside toys (check out her blog for details and pictures). Oh yeah, I also gained a pound. Maybe I can counteract that by losing almost four pounds again next week! See you later for post 301!

Toby Mac and Skillet!!!
Last night I went to the Skillet and Toby Mac concert at the Lucas County Arena! It was great!!! I would have to say one of the best concerts I have ever been to! I went with Sharon and her daughter Jourdyn, Larry, Dawn, Nichole, Katie, and Adam Pioterek. Before the concert we went to Pizza Piapilis (that is probably spelled completely wrong). It was delicious! I told Jeromy we definitely have to go some time. He would love it! Our friend Tammy and her son Nick joined us at dinner. It was Nick's first concert ever! I bet he enjoyed it! My one mistake is I didn't take my camera so all my pictures were taken by my cell phone which made it look like we were miles from the stage. Actually, we had pretty good seats.
Even though I do not know Skillet's music very well, I still enjoyed their show. They had great pyrotechnics and their energy was awesome!
The stage set-up for Skillet. I just took this one to help show how far we were from the stage.
Skillet performing. It was hard to take a picture with my phone. With the lights, fireworks, and even fire the stage was usually too bright and all I could see was a ball of light on my phone. The cool thing is that they used a violin and cello for many of their songs. I'm sure there were kids in the audience who were thinking those instruments were cool for the very first time.
I have to admit that Toby Mac was my favorite part of the night. That is simply because I LOVE Toby Mac's music! I love the fact that besides singing he can take time out from his concert and share the word of the Lord with turning the kids off. I would not be surprised if there were some who came to the Lord last night. He is very gifted. The best picture that I took during the concert was one of those moments. I can't remember what passage he was reading, but he was talking about walking in the light of Jesus.
As you may be able to tell from the picture, there was a little stage out in the audience that he came out to a couple times. I was impressed by how many times he came out into the audience. You don't see that at many concerts.
All in all, it was a GREAT concert!!! I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!
Today has been a lovely day! It started off with me losing 3.8 pounds this week! YAY!!! That makes me really excited! Even better is that I went to pick up my bridesmaid dress for Michelle's wedding at David's Bridal because they had finished altering it and it needs altered more because of my weight loss. They told me to take the dress home and try it on the weekend of April 10th and if I think it needs it to bring it in to be realtered.
After that excitement, Abs and I went to Lifeway and the mall to return a few things. We were able to eat lunch and then we headed home. After Abs' nap we went outside to enjoy the weather. Abs played while I began cleaning windows. I was able to get almost all the windows on the back of the house cleaned (at least on the outside). Then, we made some turkey brats to eat with Jeromy and my Mom! Yummy! It is starting to feel like summer! Now, we are just relaxing and enjoying each other's company. I Love days like this!!!

First Trip to the Zoo for 2010!!!
I was lazy and stole this post from Abs' blog. I didn't want to have to write something twice. :)
The weather today is beautiful! According to the temperature gauge in my car it is almost 60 degrees! The sun is shining and it is just wonderful!!! To celebrate this beautiful spring weather Jeromy, Abs, and I went to the Toledo Zoo to meet Laura and Landon. Here are some pictures from our fun-filled day:
They were watching the polar bear in this picture.
Looking at the birds in the aviary
Abigail enjoyed her first peanut butter and jelly sandwich
As usual, she found something to push around.
There were ducks everywhere! Landon and Abigail were just as impressed by them then any of the animals at the zoo!

Woo Hoo!!! Down 3.4 Pounds!!!
This week was a very good week! I was pleasantly surprised to see my weight loss this week. Just imagine how well I would have done if I would have actually watched my points. This week, I exercised five days and watched what I ate. Now, I wasn't good all week. Actually over a two day span I ate a box of Girl Scout cookies (Tagalongs...My favorite!). Not to mention our dinner out at the Texas Roadhouse Friday night. I guess I am really lucky I lost any weight at all. Maybe I should start counting my points again and see what really happens.
