Trip to the Zoo on Good Friday

Last week I saw an advertisement on Facebook that the zoo was having an Easter Egg Hunt for the animals on Good Friday. I thought it sounded like fun and earlier this week invited a few friends to meet up and have a fun day at the zoo. So, early Friday morning, we headed to the zoo. Mandie and her kids met us at our house and she followed us over. We ran into our friend Erin who was there with her two girls and in-laws and we headed over to the gorillas. Eventually, we met up with the McQueary family and later after lunch the Williams family joined us. It was a fun day! There were a few negatives in the day, Abigail was really whiney and the zoo was REALLY crowded, but I think we all had a good time! Actually, the crowds really didn't bother us. Somehow, we were able to stay ahead of them for most of the day. Here are some pictures of our great day!
