We're Home!

We finally arrived home last night at midnight! It was a long journey home yesterday. We left the resort at 10:30 a.m. for the airport. Our plane was scheduled to take off at 2:30. We arrived at the airport a little before noon and discovered that our flight was delayed until 4:30. So, we found a Burger King to eat lunch and then found a seat to wait. To pass the time we played Phase 10.

We finally boarded the plane around 4:30 and took off. The flight was uneventful and we arrived around 9:45 p.m. in Detroit. My mom picked us up around 11 after we went through customs. We finally made it home around midnight and collapsed into bed.

If your interested in why the plane was delayed, the pilot told us. The crew arrived in Detroit this morning to no plane. Northwest had messed up and had sent our plane to somewhere in South America. So they had to wait for another plane (which took two hours).
