An Enjoyable Time!

This weekend is the Centennial Celebration for our denomination and to celebrate our church is having a wide range of activities throughout this weekend. Tonight were the events focusing on Men's and Women's ministries. It was supposed to be two separate events, but since it was so cold they combined them.

We had a wonderful meal thanks to the men and their pig roast and side dishes brought by some of the women. There were also a lot of desserts that were simply delicious. At the beginning of the night it was kind of segregated, but as time passed many of the two groups started to mingle.

I was able to get a free chair massage which was wonderful! I really need to get more massages! It felt so good! Afterwards, Jeromy and I taught a group (Rich, Sue, Betty, Goldie, and Tammy) how to play the game Apples to Apples. It was a lot of fun! We laughed so hard!

Throughout the night there was a silent auction. I won a pretty fall centerpiece! It will look beautiful in our new home! I also made a photo album for the baby at the craft table. It is very cute! I'm not very good at that kind of thing, but it turned out pretty good!

All in all it was an fun, enjoyable evening.
