Tonight Jeromy and I went to the hospital for the Maternity Tour. There were about 6 other couples on the tour with us. They began the tour at the door where Jeromy will drop me off and then preceded to show us every step that we will take. We saw the Labor and Delivery rooms, the Family Waiting Room, the Postpartum rooms, and the Nursery. All of the kitchenettes were pointed out to us as we walked (in case we want a snack at any time during our stay). The rooms were not as small as I remembered them. They have done some remodeling. The only negative is that on a busy night we may have to share our postpartum room. That won't be fun. But, they said that they move people out of double rooms as soon as they can. So, hopefully, if that happens, we won't have to stay there long. Maybe Abigail will just come on a day when it's not busy.
We have been looking forward to this night! It makes it seem so close some how. We are beginning our Childbirth classes next week, so I'm sure I'll have stuff to share about that.
